My good friend’s sister in Tennessee (I so wish she lived closer!!) reached out to me on Instagram to see if I could do a pet portrait of her sweet cat Mr. Bond. He passed away last year, and a painting can be a good way to memorialize a fur baby. I told her I’d never tried to paint a cat before, but was willing to try. And it was such a blast!
